Discontinue retinoids: Stop using Retin-A, Trentinoin, adapalene, or any retinol products at least 5-7 days prior to treatment
Avoid exfoliants: No AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, or enzymes 5 - 7 days prior to treatment
Avoid waxing or depilatories: No hair removal on the treatment area 7 days prior to treatment
No tanning or sunburns: Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 1 - 2 weeks prior to treatment
Stop certain procedures: No micro needling, or laser treatments 2 weeks prior to treatment
